It also holds 90% interests in the Lumwana West project; the Kamapanda project consisting of exploration license covering an area of 225 square kilometers; the Kalaba East project; and the Musangila project located in North-Western province, Zambia. In addition, the company holds 80% interest in the Higginsville joint venture project covering exploration license E15/1489 located in the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia. Further, it holds interest in the Torrens joint venture project covering EL 6407 exploration license; and the Frome project comprising four exploration licenses located in South Australia. The company was formerly known as Star Mining Corporation NL. Argonaut Resources NL was incorporated in 1985 and is based in Adelaide, Australia.
